Tired is the new normal… or is it?
If you’re constantly dragging through the day, crashing mid-afternoon, or relying on caffeine to survive, your body might be trying to send you a message.
The good news? You don’t need extreme solutions to feel better. At CrossFit 611, we help people rebuild their energy with simple, sustainable steps—starting with these three:
1. Start With Hydration
Most people wake up already dehydrated, and that alone can tank your energy, mood, and focus.
Try this:
- Drink 12–16 oz. of water first thing in the morning
- Add a pinch of sea salt or a splash of lemon to boost absorption
- Keep a water bottle nearby and aim for half your body weight in ounces each day
Even mild dehydration can feel like exhaustion.
2. Move to Wake Up
Movement boosts circulation, oxygen flow, and endorphins—aka your body’s natural energy boosters.
You don’t need a full workout to get a benefit. Try:
- A short walk
- 10 air squats
- A few minutes of stretching or mobility
Just 3–5 minutes of light movement can help kickstart your day (or break up an afternoon slump).
3. Prioritize Real Rest
If you’re constantly tired, more hustle isn’t the answer—better rest is.
Here’s what we recommend:
- Aim for 7–8 hours of sleep each night
- Turn off screens 30–60 minutes before bed
- Keep a consistent sleep/wake routine
- Try magnesium or herbal tea to support wind-down
Quality rest helps your body recharge, your brain function, and your workouts feel better.
